8. SMS Messaging and Mobile Data

Data we collect When you enable SMS-based two-factor authentication, we collect your mobile phone number and records of SMS messages sent to your number (timestamp, delivery status). We do not store the content of one-time passcodes after delivery.

How we use your mobile number Your mobile phone number is used exclusively to deliver one-time passcodes and security verification codes for account authentication. We do not use your number for marketing, promotional, or any other purpose.

Consent and opt-in SMS messages are sent only to users who have voluntarily enabled SMS two-factor authentication in their account security settings. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing or using the amaise platform.

Third-party sharing No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.

Message frequency and rates Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

Opt-out You may withdraw consent and stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from amaise, or by disabling SMS two-factor authentication in your account settings. Following opt-out, you will receive one final confirmation message.

Data retention We retain your mobile phone number for as long as your amaise account is active. Upon account deletion or upon request, your mobile number will be removed from our systems within 30 days. To request deletion, contact support@amaise.com.

Security We implement industry-standard encryption and access controls to protect your mobile number and associated data. Access is restricted to authorised personnel only.
