Microsoft's AI Startup of the Year expands internationally. Strengthens leadership team with entrepreneur Patrick Barnert. Launch of agentic AI platform and CasePilot for bodily injury claims.
Bern, Switzerland – May 9, 2025 – amaise, a leading AI-powered solution provider for bodily injury claims, today announced its international expansion strategy and product evolution.

Strengthening the Leadership Team
To support its global growth, amaise has appointed Patrick Barnert as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Barnert is a serial entrepreneur and seasoned executive. He brings a proven track record of scaling international software businesses. He was co-founder and CEO of Unic, served as Senior VP at OpenText where he built the strategic alliance with SAP, and led Qumram AG to a successful exit to Dynatrace. Barnert has also advised and invested in several tech startups from inception to successful exit.
