Legal-i Becomes amaise

In May 2025, we took a decisive step in our company's trajectory. After years of building trusted AI solutions in Europe, legal-i officially rebranded to amaise, a name that better reflects our global ambition and the transformative power of agentic intelligence in insurance.

This rebrand marked the start of our international expansion strategy, backed by proven success in the European market and validated by industry leaders.

Three Product Innovations

To support the rebrand, we launched three flagship additions to our product suite:

  • amaise agentic AI Platform - Our flagship solution deploying intelligent, secure AI agents to deliver deep insights into unstructured medical data.
  • amaise CasePilot - A unified view of document- and claim-level intelligence with configurable dashboards and AI-powered Q&A assistance.
  • amaise MedInsights - Enabling claims professionals to understand and evaluate patient medical histories through extracted and visualized critical details.

U.S. Market Entry and Expansion

This year, we launched operations in Dallas, Texas, establishing our American headquarters alongside validation from the Guidewire Insurtech Vanguards program, confirming amaise as a trusted partner within North America's most important P&C ecosystem.

We strengthened our team with two important hires:

Bringing more than a decade of entrepreneurship and scaling experience, Patrick accelerated our international growth and ensured amaise could deliver globally at the pace the market demanded.

Scott Francis - General Manager, U.S. (November 2025)
With 10+ years of building and leading sales organizations in insurance, Scott transitioned from Vice President of Strategic Accounts at Ethos Risk Services to lead our North American operations, drive commercial growth, and strengthen carrier partnerships.
